  • A thorough consultation will initially be conducted to determine if you are a good candidate for the treatment.

Once a cleanse and prepping of the skin is complete, your eyes will be protected with safety goggles or eye shields. A cool gel will then be applied to the area being treated. Then, a chilled applicator is placed on the skin to deliver the light energy. Some areas on the skin will be more sensitive than others, however most clients report the sensation feels like a “warm flick” or “rubber band snap” to the skin. The treatment will take 15 to 60 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.

  • This will depend on your treatment goals and the level of correction desired. Most patients receive 3-4 corrective Moxi treatments and 1-2 BBL treatments, then often sign up for regular maintenance treatments. Talk to your practitioner about your goals and they can advise you on the best treatment regimen.

Win the battle against visible signs of aging and enjoy more EVENLY TONED, RADIANT SKIN from head to toe.

  • You can expect redness and heat in the skin for a few hours following the procedure. Mild swelling can occur over the days following the treatment. You may see the small micro dots called MENDs where the laser was applied. As the micro zones heal, they will darken and feel rough. Between days 3-7, the MENDS will slough off, revealing the renewed skin beneath.

  • Are there contraindications?

Do not receive a MOXI or BBL skin treatment if you:

    • have been tanning in sun or sunbeds

    • have used fake tans 2 weeks prior

    • are on strong antibiotics, using Retin-A or bleaching cream

    • have a history of melanoma or have active skin infections

    • if you have a history of herpes(coldsores) outbreaks, we recommend taking an anti-viral medication on the day of the treatment to prevent an outbreak from occurring.
