Gua Sha vs Facial Roller

GUA SHA

  • Releases tension in facial muscles helping to increase blood flow

  • Skin feels lifted & brighter

  • Sculpt, contour & shape

  • Improves fine lines & wrinkles as well as evening out skin texture

  • Requires slip ie: an oil, serum, or moisturiser applied to the skin

Facial Roller

  • Cools & reduces inflammation

  • Improves fine lines & wrinkles as well as evening out skin texture

  • Aids in product penetration

  • Can be used with or without product on the skin

  • Great beginner tool

When using facial rollers we are encouraging lymphatic drainage - removing waste toxins and fluids from the body via our lymph nodes - with added visible benefits such as reduced puffiness and boosted glow!

When using your facial roller at home there are a few important things to keep in mind:

  • Always begin on your neck to clear the lymph pathways before starting on the face.

  • Use a light hand with gentle pressure and the tool will do the rest.

  • Always clean your roller or gua sha after use.

  • Begin with a cleansed face, apply your serum and moisturizer and then begin facial massage using either a facial roller or gua sha - the tool will aid with deeper penetration of product!

PRO TIP: Store your facial roller or gua sha in the fridge for a cooling massage & reduced inflammation.
